Professional Experience

Following graduation from Loyola Law School in 1990, J. Price McNamara served as a federal judicial law clerk to the Honorable John M. Shaw, Chief Judge, United States District Court, Western District of Louisiana, until 1991. He then spent years defending vessel owners, drilling contractors, fire, casualty, automobile insurers and others in a broad range of personal injury claims with the law firm of Hailey, McNamara, Hall, Larmann & Papale, while earning an advanced law degree from Tulane Law School at night. In 1995, Mr. McNamara left the defense practice to serve two years representing the State of Louisiana as a Felony Trial Division Prosecutor with the Jefferson Parish District Attorney's Office.

In 1995, Mr. McNamara founded the Law Office of J. Price McNamara, where he now puts his past experience to work for the individual clients he represents in both federal and state courts in a broad range of personal injury and other civil litigation, as well as criminal defense matters. PRICE McNAMARA, Born New Orleans, Louisiana, May 23, 1964; admitted to bar, 1990, Louisiana; also admitted to practice before U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit; U.S. District Courts, Eastern, Western and Middle Districts of Louisiana.  Education: Jesuit High School (Graduate, 1982), Airtaix School of Aviation (licensed single engine land and sea planes, 1983), Loyola University (BBA, 1987; J.D., 1990), Tulane University (LL.M., 1995).  Professional Experience: Law Clerk to the Honorable John M.
